EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

In an effort to promote career exploration and to more closely align the local workforce with employer needs, Project RECONNECT utilized its employer partnerships to launch Employer Engagement Sessions. These sessions provide disadvantaged youth and young adults with on site tours of local employers and informational meetings that address workforce opportunities specific to the host organization.

Employer Engagement Sessions are made available to all RECONNECT clients as well as any vulnerable young persons accessing services in the RECONNECT Network which includes but is not limited to, the Adult Learning Center, Berkshire Works, Berkshire Community College’s Project Link and the Pittsfield Public School’s alternative programming.  Project RECONNECT continuously expands its employer network to best serve the needs of the Berkshire community.
